By Plane
Fly into the SeaTac Airport located about 25 minutes south of Seattle. From there, you can either rent a car, Uber, or take the Light Rail train to the Seattle ferry terminal and take the ferry to Bainbridge Island (our new home)! If you do not have a car, you will need to arrange for a ride on the other side of the ferry as it is still an hour-ish drive to Port Townsend. By Ferry
The Washington State Ferries are a quintessential PNW experience and on a clear day there are great views of the mountains, ocean and Seattle waterfront. You can either walk or drive onto the ferries and there are no reservations needed. Take the ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island or if you are farther north, the Edmonds to Kingston ferry works too! Use the WSDOT link or app below to check the schedule and wait times for either crossing.

By Car
On busy summer weekends, the ferries can get backed up with long wait times, especially during commuting hours. The other option is to drive south around the Puget Sound through Tacoma. This route usually takes ~2 hours form SeaTac Airport which can be the same amount of travel time if the ferries are backed up, just involves more driving!

The Bishop Hotel
Update as of 3/19: only 1 room left! We have several rooms reserved at the Bishop Hotel for family and friends that are visiting from out of town. It is a historical boutique hotel located in downtown Port Townsend just a couple blocks from the waterfront. The rooms are fireplace suites with an onsite wine bar/coffee shop. Please contact the hotel directly to make your reservation and ask for the Golden/Buchanan wedding!

The Palace Hotel and Belmont Hotel have a couple rooms pre-reserved each, otherwise, we recommend booking other stays as far in advance as possible to ensure there is availability.
